My interests T and B cell collaboration, idiotypes and autoimmunity. Arthritis, EAE and SLE. Our transgenic mice have B-cells expressing the transgenic lambdal2.315 light-chain. This chain contains an Idiotope that is presented on I-Ed (MHC II) by B-cells as well as other APC`s. In the same mouse-model there are TCR-transgenic-Th2-cells that specifically react to the Idiotope when presented on I-Ed. I am studying idiotope specific T and B cell interaction, leading to antibody-production.
