Personal Data:
Name: Peter Olaf Hofgaard. Born 12.10.61, Seattle, Washington, USA. Emigrated to Norway in 1982. Fluent in English and Norwegian.

Education:
Studied life science at the University of Oslo. Bachelor of science degree (Candidatus magisterii) in biology in 1987. Master of science degree (Candidatus scientiarum) in biology in 1991.

Employment:
Institute of Immunology, at The National Hospital, University of Oslo in Professor Bogen`s research group from 1991 to the present. Current position: head engineer.

Experience:
Expertice in flow cytometry, cell culture, proliferation assay, cell purification with magnetic beads, and ELISA. Skilled in in vivo procedures with mice involving blood sampling, injection, dissection and surgery. Proficiency in other techniques such as southern blotting, PCR, protein purification using chromatography, cell sorting and graphical presention using various computer programs and platforms.
