We are working with two complementary transgenic mice. One that is transgenic for a lambda L-chain derived from the MOPC315 myeloma. This L-chain has somatic mutations in the CDR3 region, defining the non-germline idiotype expressed by the L-chain. The second is transgenic for a TCR with specificity for the same CDR3 Id-peptide when presented on the MHC class II molecule I-Ed. Download detailed description of model system.
