Overview of projects

1) Immune regulation and autoimmunity

2) Tumor immunology. B cell lymphomas and multiple myelomas. Malignant B cells and plasmacells represent clonal expansions, and produce monoclonal antibody with homogeneous V regions. Id-determinants in the V regions therefore represent highly tumor specific antigens. In fact, Id appears to be the most successful target for cancer vaccines so far. It is thought that T cell recognition of Id is of major importance in Id-vaccination. Hence, it is important to study Id-specific T cells in the context of B cell lymphomas and multiple myelomas.

3) Vaccines. Troy bodies
